If you are trying to lose weight I’m going to bet you would love to learn a few ways to get organized so you canmaximize weight loss.  I know I was thrilled once I learned about a few small changes I could make to my life that would have a huge impact on my weight loss progress and even get used to living a more organized life.
Whether you are trying to change your eating habits to lose weight or just live a healthier lifestyle, the sudden change in your diet can be difficult.  The last thing we need is a disorganized mess to make things even more difficult, which often leads to a person turning back to their old habits.  It might have taken me a while and several face plants off the diet wagon, but I finally figured out a few ways to get organized & maximize weight loss that works for me.  I don’t have a fancy food I’m sticking; I’m organized, active and eating g ways to get organized & maximize weight loss.  I can’t speak for everyone, but the organization was essential for me.  I would try to go into it with a plan, but nothing worked until I got serious about getting organized on my diet.

WAYS TO GET ORGANIZED & MAXIMIZE WEIGHT LOSS

So what’s the trick?  I, not a pro when it comes to getting organized or diets, but I will share a few things that helped me ditch the all the disorganization stress for a more organized but successful weight loss journey.
1.) Get the support of your family – Seriously, this is a huge step it’s easier to organize one meal for the whole family than it is two. Plus, it’s better for everyone.
2.) Clean out your kitchen – Yes, get rid of all those chips, cakes, cookies and other foods that will tempt you later.  It’s better to start fresh.  If you can’t toss the food than donate what is unopened and give the rest to family and friends. If needed, you can organize the kitchen, so your food is in a particular area in the kitchen, but hopefully, your family is on board and want to eat healthier too.
3.) Get your Fitbit out and maximize weight loss – Do you have a Fitbit?  If so, it’s time to pull it out, get it set up completely, so you don’t have to fiddle with it when you start your diet.  Oh and plan on wearing it all the time.  Knowing what you’re doing during the day can help motivate you to do more.  Plus, you can take part in competitions which are very motivating, log food, water, sleep, exercise and more.
4.) Track your results – There are several ways you can track your results – apps on your smartphone, traditional pen and paper, Clipix and more.  I have been thinking about starting to use Clipix because I could put pictures in together on a board and see the change.  I think that would be extremely motivating, and I don’t have to worry about anyone seeing the pictures as long as I set the board to private.
5.) Plan your meals – Be sure to plan your meals weekly so you know what you are going to eat each day of the week until getting used to changing your diet and learn more about what you should and shouldn’t eat. I used a pen and notebook to start my meal plans but recently started using an impressive little tool called Clipix to keep my meals
6.) Schedule time for workouts several times a week – Don’t forget you can’t lose weight if you don’t work out.  Well, I guess you could, but it wouldn’t be the right way which means there is a huge possibility you’d gain it all back.  I don’t know about you but forget to do this twice, and it will be worth it when it is all said and done.
7.) Always take a list to the store – If you are not an organized shopper, it’s time to become one.  You’ll want to head to the store with a list and ONLY get what is on that list.  If you go to the store without a list, you’ll miss something or get something you shouldn’t.  Plus, you save money when you shop with a list.  It’s a win-win, if you don’t currently shop with a list you’ll be glad you started.
8.) Make time for a quick run to the grocery store several times a week – Be sure to allow yourself time to run to the grocery store a few times a week if needed.   I try to grab everything for the week in one trip to the grocery store, but it’s not often I only have to make one trip to the store weekly especially with a hubby and four children.
I typically try and do all my big weekly shopping on Monday morning after I drop the kids off at school.  I also make sure I have time on Wednesday and Friday mornings in case I need to make an extra trip to the store.  If I don’t need to go, it’s extra time I have for me, which doesn’t happen often.  FYI – Don’t forget your list.
9.) Cook meals ahead of time – There are several things you can cook ahead of time and put in the freezer for later or make a little extra when you are cooking dinner, so you have something healthy for lunch the following day.  Try to think ahead and make life as easy as possible for you.
10.) Mix up your menu to maximize weight loss – Try to mix up your recipes from time to time, so you don’t get burnt out and decide to cheat a bit.   Don’t worry you can still stay organized with Clipix.  You might want to set up your Clipix account entirely different than I’m doing mine which is fine.  Do what works for you, I’m only sharing the way I organize my boards to help with my weight loss, so you have a few ideas to work out. However, before I tell you too much about my boards, I want to explain Clipix.  It will be easier to understand if you know what Clipix is and how things work.

CLIPIX, HELP YOU ORGANIZE YOUR LIFE FOR BETTER WEIGHT LOSS RESULTS

Use Clipix to not only help you get organized so you can increase weight loss and take advantage of this useful tool in other areas of your life that need a little organization too.
Clipix is an awesome tool that allows users to organize everything they see online and offline as one central location.  Each user will place the content they gather from online or offline into what is called “clips” which are a visual bookmark where you can save anything from a clip of shoes to voice recordings.  If you use the Google Extension all you have to do is click on the little Clipix icon when you are ready to save something, give the item a short description, some keywords and save it.
You can add clips from the website by uploading, clipping emails, syncing pins from Pinterest, bookmarks, and creating a sticky note. You’ll notice a plus sign on the top right of your page, choose how to want to add content and follow onscreen directions.
You can also create boards with healthy restaurant choices, products that make a healthy lifestyle tastier and even take advantage of the Clipix price drop feature. Now that is what I’m talking about, but my favorite part of all is that I can clip articles I find useful from around the web and track my progress with pictures or another document. Talk about keeping me motivated and don’t worry if you don’t want anyone to see your pictures you can set the boards to private.
Whether you are on your PC, tablet, laptop or smartphone be sure to check out Clipix. It’s an impressive tool and an excellent way to get organized with everything from your meals to a few hair styles you are considering. You can even show your stylist from your smartphone.
We all need a safe place to keep all those important things we find online and offline right? I sure do, and Clipix turned into my tool because I can store websites for healthy recipes, DIY projects, products I like with price drop alert, emails, videos, documents, and just about anything else I need.
Clipix is going to turn me into an information hoarder, lol. Hey, at least, we’ll be organized.

Plus, to make using Clipix keeping my meals organized MUCH easier and faster than ever before.  Plus, you can grab the Clipix Google Chrome extension to make things even easier than before.  The Clipix Google Chrome extension allows users to clip while they are browsing the internet without ever leaving the web page they are browsing which makes grabbing recipes for my Meal Planning folder with Clipix super easy.
I recently started using Clipix for meal planning which I love and plan on using for several other areas of my life – DIY project inspiration, birthday ideas, vacation planning, and I’ll be checking out the Clipix price drop feature and more.
I don’t want you to think I’m telling you that Clipix is a magical weight loss tool because it’s not.  I was losing weight before starting my Clipix account, but I was beginning to get stressed about things like what to make for dinner. Honestly, I think it was me trying to come up with excuses or reasons why I couldn’t do it.  Clipix has helped me avoid stress from being unorganized when it comes to preplanning meals.     Clipix might not be a magical weight loss tool, but in my opinion, it is an excellent, fantastic organization tool.
Now if someone would invent a magic tool to make sure I got enough sleep every night I would be one happy camper.  Yes, I admit it; I need to work on getting decent of sleep every night. I sleep but not enough but I will because I’m feeling motivated this time around.  Maybe I should start clipping some sleeping tips and information.  You never know I might just find something that works or, at least, points me in the right direction.
Yes, the above photo is a screen shot of my food boards when I was getting everything set up and starting this week’s folder. It’s where I will store all my food ideas. I guess you could call it my master recipe list.
Every Saturday I’ll make a folder for the upcoming week, so I have everything I need in one place. When it’s all said and done, I should have seven breakfast, lunch, and dinner items as well as 14 or 21 quick and easy snacks for the week – orange, apple graves, cucumbers, etc.
When it’s time to start a new week I move the pins back into the main meal planning folder, so I have them to choose from again. I’ll edit my weekly folder by updating the dates in the title and adding my next week’s food to help keep meals healthy and organized and not boring because we’re able to try new things all the time. Plus, having all my recipes together in one place makes it easier to make the list too.
